Waiting on My GitHub Education Benefits

Hey everyone,

I was approved for GitHub Education benefits, but I haven’t received them yet. It’s been a few days since my approval. From what I understand, they should arrive within 3-5 days, so I just wanted to check if there’s anything I need to do on my own.

Has anyone else experienced this delay? Would appreciate any guidance!

Don't worry, you don't have to do anything else. The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

When the benefits become available, the status label will turn purple and change to:

• Congrats! Your request for @3r6nuss was approved and your benefits are now available.

How to enable Copilot Pro for GitHub Education verified students/teachers?
Once you have been successfully approved as a verified student or educator, your academic benefits will become available within a few days. You will receive an email when your academic benefits are ready to be redeemed.

Once the benefits are applied, Copilot Pro can be claimed via the benefits page or this signup link.

A friend had same issue. And just when he thought it was all over and that he was never going to enjoy the benefits, he received them. So just be on the lookout :)
