@TobyZhang0 Check Compatibility, ensure version of DataSpell is compatible with Github Copilot.
Update Plugin, make sure both Github Copilot and Data Spell plugin are updated to their latest version,

Last option is Reinstall plugin. Try unistalling and then reinstalling Github Copilot plugin. This can help reset configuration.

Review log, check IDE logs for error message related to Gihtub Copilot.

Unfortunately reinstall did not solve the problem. All versions are latest.

are you on the nightly version? it started happening to me on that version. switch back the channel to stable, uninstall copilot and then reinstall it. that fixed it for me

Hitting the same issue after updating Pycharm to PyCharm 2024.3.3 (Community Edition) and Copilot plugin to 1.5.36-242
