A recent change added the commenter avatar with alt text next to the name in the email notification.
This not only counts against the bandwidth quota I work with, but since I have set my email client to not fetch remote content, the alt text for the unshown avatar overlaps with the text user name, making it unreadable. I imagine a screen reader would say it twice as well.
My preference is to remove the avatar, but it could also work to remove the alt text.
An example notification from today: (See the first line below the yellow.)
